Computer Interface
A great variety of functions exist in today's communication systems which require the use of computer techniques to achieve high performance and data reliability, automatically and effectively. Saco Controls accomplishes this through the use of microprocessor-based control circuits.
Saco Controls Advanced Logic System (ALS) provides an intelligent microprocessor-based system converting received data into useful display values. The system contains various sub-system control circuits including lamp, BCD, analog and dot matrix drivers. Each sub-system circuit is microprocessor-based allowing independant operation from the other components. This system can be easily upgraded to meet the expanding user requirements simply by adding the required logic.
Communication between Saco Controls ALS system and input/output devices is via standard computer interfaces. This data can be the result of communications with remotely located control and monitoring devices.
